Labels and indicators

Proof that travels on with every carton and pack

After the pallet break, cartons and packs travel on to pharmacies, clinics, or patients. Bluetooth labels and QR indicators go with them.

The challenge

Today, the monitoring stops at the pallet break

One pallet becomes thousands of packs. The device stays with the pallet. The value, the chain of custody and the obligation go with every pack.

Where they fit

Two more ways to cover the last mile

Saga device, covers Pallet to Box, reports on its own.
Saga Card, covers Pallet to Secondary package, reports on its own.
BLE label, covers Box to Carton, needs a reader or parent.
Passive indicator, covers Carton to Unit or dose, needs a reader or parent.

What labels and indicators enable

  • Evidence down to the carton and the pack

Condition on the record below the box, carton by carton.

  • Checked at every handover

A gateway or the Controlant App reads the label automatically. Indicators are scanned with a phone camera.

  • Alongside your device data

Label data is designed to come into the same Controlant Platform as your Saga devices and Saga Card. Integration for indicators is in development.

BLE label

A Bluetooth label that keeps its own log

It goes on the box or the carton and keeps a log as it travels. A gateway, or the Controlant App, reads that log at every handover, where custody changes, not only at the far end.

Passive indicator

A QR indicator read with any phone

Single-use and battery-free, for individual packs. A phone camera scan shows whether the indicator was triggered, for example by temperatures above its limit, with no app to download. Each scan records the time, date, and location.

Both the Bluetooth label and QR indicators sit in one device portfolio with the Saga devices and Saga Card, from the pallet to the unit.
