Gísli Herjólfsson co-founded Controlant and has driven the company's strategy and growth for the last 17 years. He has a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iceland.

Hristo Petkov joined Controlant in 2022, where he is dedicated to solving complex pharmaceutical logistics challenges for the logistics sector, namely logistics and special logistics companies, packaging and wholesalers. Previously, he initiated and built the pharma vertical at A.P. Moller-Maersk from scratch, leading engagement with large pharma customers and working in other roles related to cold chain and trade lanes.

Steve recently retired as a Senior Partner from McKinsey & Company. Over his long career at McKinsey, he founded and led the firm’s Healthcare Technology practice and later founded and built their technology transformation practice, McKinsey Technology, a fast-growing $2B global business. He was also a long-time leader in the Life Sciences practice, serving large, global pharmaceutical and medical product organizations. Prior to McKinsey, Steve was Vice-President of IT at Baxter Healthcare and Senior Manager at Andersen Consulting. He has a B.A. in Economics and History from Hope College.

Lia Sylvestri joined Controlant as Customer Success Director in February. She has extensive experience within Informatics, Pharma/Biopharmaceutical, Cell & Gene Therapy and works strategically with customers focusing on delivering value-add technology solutions to solve for expansion and scale challenges in supply chain management.

James joined Controlant in 2023 after working in both the drug track & trace and advanced therapy orchestration industries. James has been helping pharmaceutical companies to improve supply chain visibility, traceability, and sustainability over the last five years to reduce waste & losses so critical medicines get to patients on-time.

Earl joined Controlant as the VP of Logistics Customer Engagement in March, focusing on the U.S. market. With extensive commercial experience in building sustainable growth strategies within the healthcare supply chain industry, Earl has since partnered with wholesalers and distributors to maximize the benefits of real-time visibility and tracking for their pharmaceutical shipments.

Chintan has over 18 years of experience helping clients realize value in their technology investments and driving strategic outcomes leading Digital Transformation within life sciences. He has gained diverse experience in value driven supply chain enterprise business solutions and processes, specialized in life sciences.
