The Controlant wireless sensor network offers an easy and cost effective way to monitor assets and environment. Integrating the entire network with multiple sensors, or adding new sensors to an existing one, is an easy task and can be carried out by any employee.
The system operates on the infrastructure designed by Controlant, which offers companies with one local or multiple distributed operating sites to gather valuable information into a single database and web interface system in an easy and flexible manner. The sensor unit sends its data to a database server via a Controlant transceiver unit. Each sensor is able to be active for up to five years without losing functionality. In case of connection loss to the transceiver unit, the sensor logs up to 8,000 values in its memory – ensuring safety of data.
