CMS Wireless Sensor Network

The CMS wireless sensor network offers an easy and cost effective way to monitor assets and environment.  Integrating the entire system with multiple sensors or adding new sensors to an existing one is an easy task and can be carried out by your standard employee. The system uses GPRS to upload data and is therefore extremely easy to setup.

The CMS infrastructure, designed by Controlant, offers companies with one local or multiple distributed operating sites to gather valuable information to a single database and web interface system – in an easy and flexible manner.

Sensors transmit data to a database server via a transceiver unit. Each sensor is able to be active for up to 5 years without losing functionality. In case of connection loss to the transceiver unit, the sensor logs up to 8.000 values in its memory – maximizing safety of data. The transceiver has an inbuilt rechargeable battery, which allows the entire system to run without power.
