The CMS database and web-interface system offers customers and users of the CMS infrastructure an easy and effective tool to view, analyze and work with data. The data can be accessed online where- and whenever through a web-interface. Managers can view data to estimate environmental variables of interest as well as setting warning levels to individual measurements. Warnings are shown in the interface, but can also be received via e-mail and text messages.

The CMS infrastructure, designed by Controlant, offers companies with one local or multiple distributed operating sites to gather valuable information to a single database and web interface system – in an easy and flexible manner. Safety of data is our main concern. Data is backed up every 24 hours on multiple locations – where every backup is kept for one month.

Including multiple backups of data during that time. Every activity in each CMS monitoring system is logged to a server. Customers can analyze each activity, add descriptions and generate reports if necessary.

Usability The web interface is designed for easy use and for flexibility. Access to the interface can be restricted to view mode only. The interface suits both managers who want to receive warnings and view data graphically as well as researchers who want to download and work with data. The system is scalable so it can equally serve large quantity customers as well as small quantity customers. Settings and user accounts can easily be configured by managers.

Safety Data is stored on secure servers. The database is backed up every 24 hours and stored for a month. The database and web interface servers are monitored 24/7. Data is buffered in CMS hardware and is stored while connection to the database server is down.
