Controlant increases market reach

Controlant increases market reach with Global Good partnership, Logipharma Awards nomination and appearances at key Cold Chain events.

Controlant has a busy fall events program which includes participation in the TechNet Conference in Lisbon, CPhI Worldwide Frankfurt, Logipharma Supply Chain Awards in Stuttgard and the Nordic QA Forum in Kastrup.

Our autumn travel begins at the 15th Annual TechNet Conference ("Building the next generation of immunization supply chains") from 16-20 October 2017, where the Global Good initiative to commercialize vaccine storage, for which Controlant is proud to be the temperature control monitoring solution, will be presented.

"The World Health Organization estimates that more than 1 million children die each year from vaccine-preventable diseases. This is due in part because many regions lack the electricity and infrastructure needed to store temperature-sensitive vaccines. Global Good’s vaccine storage device overcomes this by using a combination of super-insulation techniques to hold vaccines at the appropriate temperature for more than a month with no external power."

Controlant's cold chain solution has been selected as the temperature monitoring component for two of the refrigeration vendors who are manufacturing refrigeration units for this initiative.

The Controlant team then heads to Frankfurt, Germany 24-26 October for CPhI Worldwide. We will be on site to meet and reconnect with customers, vendors and partners in the pharmaceutical industry and showcase how Controlant's temperature monitoring solutions can decrease waste and maintain pharmaceutical integrity through the transport and storage supply chain.

On 9 November, we will attend the Logipharma Supply Chain Awards in Frankfurt, Germany, where Controlant and partner Teva has been named as finalists.

"The inaugural 2017 LogiPharma Supply Chain Awards acknowledge the hardworking and inspiring organizations, teams and individuals pushing the boundaries across the pharmaceutical supply chain."

We are thrilled to be acknowledged for our work with Teva in the category of Distinction in Global Temperature Control.

Team Controlant will attend the Nordic QA Forum on 16 November in Kastrup, Denmark. The event will focus on areas such as "Current GMP & regulatory updates, How to proceed and become compliant, Supply chain integrity, Quality Risk Management, Methods for enhanced product security, Transport validation."

We will provide information about Controlant's Cold Chain solutions to participants focused on Supply Chain integrity.
